Smethport’s 106.3-FM radio station WXMT has changed its format and is fast becoming a favorite channel for classic rock music from the 70s and 80s. It is a great station for “rock without the hard edge,” as the station slogan proclaims.

The recent acquisition of Smethport Specialty Co. by Patch Products Inc. of Beloit, Wisconsin has prompted an Idaho toy company to strike a deal with Patch.
