Some would say that use of creativity is the cornerstone of a well-rounded education. Fifth-graders from three area schools had an opportunity to show just how creative they can be Wednesday, as part of the St. Bonaventure SIFE program’s 2009 Toymania.

Teams from Washington West and Boardmanville in the Olean school district, and teams from Smethport participated in the second-annual event, presenting games to help teach first-graders a diverse selection of topics, from math to reading, to geography. Read more »
