Lions Club District Governor Bob Mitchell and his wife Janet attended the Smethport Lions Club meeting and dinner held at the Corner Pizza Company on Monday, May 9th.

Wearing the traditional green jacket, Governor Mitchell presented the Lions Club “Milestone” Service Award to Kerry Fetter for 45 years of service to the Smethport Area community as a Smethport Lions Club member.

When it was discovered that Troy Herzog could not attend the Lions Club dinner due to work commitments, the District Governor graciously went over to The Hub to personally present Troy with his award commemorating 25 years of service to the Smethport area community as a Smethport Lions Club member.

The Smethport Lions Club is part of the largest service club organization in the world with 1.4 million members in 210 countries who share a core belief: “community is what we make it”.
