Brice Benson began his duties as Smethport Area Junior-Senior High School principal on Friday. He succeeds Robert Miller who retired Nov. 30.

Benson comes to Smethport from the Ridgway Area School District where he had been the principal of the middle-high school since July 2015. During that time, that school was recognized as one of eight in Pennsylvania to be named a Blue Ribbon School. Read More
