Hamlin Lake Park
Hamlin Lake Park is located in Smethport’s center. Named after the Hamlin family who donated the land for its usage as a park, the area was redeveloped following the damage left by Hurricane Agnes in 1972. Today, the lake is again being studied for further development by Smethport Borough.
Northstar Studio has produced a 10-page picture book capturing the scenic beauty of the lake and the many activities and events it supports.
Ross Porter has produced a tourist tri-fold brochure with a historical perspective: Hamlin Lake Park — Smethport’s Crown Jewel
