Bradford Era – by Free and Accepted Masons

McKean Lodge #388 Free and Accepted Masons in Smethport has awarded $1,000 scholarships to Hunter Faulkner and Ethan Nannen, both honor students in the Class of 2020 at Smethport Area Junior-Senior High School.

Hunter will attend the Pennsylvania College of Technology in the fall to study architecture and sustainable design. At Smethport High, he was active in choir, golf, baseball and track.

Ethan plans to major in intelligence studies at Mercyhurst University and will be enrolled in the ROTC program. His extracurricular activities in high school included National Honor Society, concert, jazz and marching bands, cross country and track and field.

Outside of school, Ethan is an Eagle Scout and an acolyte, usher and lay reader in his church.
