Constructed in 1899, the Clark Building, home to Lindgren’s Variety Store at 311 W. Main Street, was recognized for its historical significance to Smethport.

Ross Porter presided over the Historic Registry plaque ceremony with Harry Lindgren and his daughters Kim Cavallero and Christine Lindgren. The plaque and framed historical description are now displayed outside the store entry.
