These days, money is tight for many. Bargain shoppers will be excited to know a Goodwill store is coming to Smethport. The store, which is set for a soft opening next week, is located at 86 Marvin St. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

“We have a hard opening planned for April 5,” said Jessica Illuzzi, public relations and social media coordinator for Goodwill Industries of North Central PA.

The company sees Smethport as a prime location to open its new venture. There are already Goodwill stores in Coudersport, Bradford and Shinglehouse.

“We thought Smethport would be a great new addition, allowing us to bring our store, our great merchandise and our mission service training programs to another community in the area,” said Illuzzi. Read More
