Garden Club to Sponsor Christmas Brunch

We hope you have enjoyed the lovely Balcon Geraniums from Swanson’s Family Farms that the Garden Club has planted along Main Street this year.

In October, the Club will be cleaning out the planters for storage until next year. Also, have you noted the new stone wall planter at the Washington Street entrance to Hamlin Lake Park? This is a new Garden Club venture this year.

In lieu of a Christmas Tea this year, the Garden Club has decided to sponsor an elegant Christmas Brunch to kick off the Christmas season. The brunch will be held at St. Lukes Church on December 5th. There will be two seatings for the brunch…one at 11:00 a.m. and the second at 1:00 p.m.

There will be traditional holiday brunch dishes prepared and served by the Club members. Music will be provided by local talents. Tickets will be on sale next month. The Christmas Brunch is a fundraiser for the Club’s endeavor to beautify Smethport.
