Is your class planning a reunion this summer? Would you like the chance to see not only classmates from your graduation year, but those from other years as well?
This summer, www.smethportalumni.com will be sponsoring an Alumni Night for all classes on August 1st at the Smethport Country Club. There will be door prizes, hors d'ouvres, a DJ (playing music from all decades as we progress through the night), and a cash bar. A small cover charge will help to offset the costs associated with this event. If you can donate a door prize, please consider doing so. Any item, big or small, will be appreciated.
As the event draws near, we would like to compile a list on the website of all those who will be attending in an effort to encourage others to attend as well. A similar thing was done for the Sesquicentennial All-Classes Reunion back in 2003 and it really helped to draw in more attendees.
Please spread the word about this event! Even if you live in Smethport, spread the word since many people are still unaware of the www.smethportalumni.com website. A successful Alumni Night 2009 will help to ensure that this will become an annual event!
