Collection of Photographs Depict Attractions Along U.S. Route 6

A collection of beautiful color and black and white photographs and prints showing the diverse attractions along historic U.S. Route 6 as it stretches from New England to the West Coast is now exhibited at the recently reopened Route 6 Diner in Smethport.

“This is National Tourism Week, a great time to celebrate the progress our area is making in tourism amenities and tourism developmental products,” said Linda Devlin, executive director of the Allegheny National Forest Visitors Bureau, referring to Ross Porter’s more than 75 historic photos that adorn the walls of the diner and are a new addition to the tourism promotions of this region.
