Meeting Minutes for December 16, 2009
Eight members attended the December meeting.
A motion was made, seconded and approved to have elections without a nominating meeting.
Nominations were made from the floor and the final ballot was:

NON-OFFICERS/DIRECTORS (vote for 2 directors at large)

The board of directors for the next 2 years will be:

with Corky Hull representing the Highlands Snow Mobil Assoc.

We will have a lifetime membership fee of:
$ 100 for single
$ 150 for family
Postcards will be sent out as renewal reminders this summer.
Michelle will contact a few people to ask them to renew their memberships.
Minor changes to our by laws need to be discussed at our next meeting.
The West Creek Trail Assoc. opened 19 miles of trail between St. Marys and Emporium.
Sally will put together a list of our past accomplishments and future goals for all members.
We will organize a hike this summer where people can renew their membership.
A work session in April is needed to clean out the creek so it is cleared for a possible canoe race this spring.
At our next meeting Sandy Thopmson from the planning commission will talk to us about creek landings and some of our other needs for making our water trails accessible.
Tim will organize our February meeting at the Court Yard together with the North Central Land Owners Assoc. First we will have our meeting and then a program about Indian Trail Trees.
Our future meetings will be on the 3rd Thursday of the month, which means we hope to see you on 21 January 2010 at 6:30pm at the Senior Center.
